If you can't afford an ASP or Monadnock, then a Smith & Wesson Expandable Baton is the way to go. You have three different lengths to choose from: 16", 21" and 24".These are excellent for not only police officers, but also for security officers, body guards as well as the regular citizen looking to beef up their defenses.
Each Smith & Wesson Expandable Baton comes with a high quality grade nylon belt holster, far better than what you would find with a cheap baton. This baton also provides a solid grip and will not break or bend like a cheaply made Chinese version will.
